Litigator and counselor to the companies building the next layer of finance, energy and technology.

Crystal Venning founded Crystal Venning Law to advise companies at the frontier of finance and technology, and to represent them when disputes follow. She counsels bitcoin miners and energy developers, exchanges and fintechs, businesses tokenizing real-world assets, and companies negotiating their first AI contracts.
She is a commercial litigator, and that experience shapes her transactional work: every agreement is written with an eye to how a court or an arbitrator would read it.
Crystal writes on digital-asset regulation and tokenization, teaches accredited Continuing Legal Education, and is a member of the Texas Blockchain Council (now the Digital Infrastructure Network) and the Crypto Valley Association. She practices from the firm’s Houston headquarters and its New York office.
Crystal teaches accredited Continuing Legal Education and speaks on the legal questions surrounding AI, tokenization and digital assets.
